Set
in a “magical time” in a town run by witches – unbeknownst to three
friends and newcomers to the community that have re-located there to spend the
season writing a new book on worldly phenomonons.
As the three begin their book, strange things begin to happen to them
whenever they are around most people within that town.
As they delve deeper for truth, one of them ends up murdered at the
Mystery Event (city carnival of magic). As
the remaining two newcomers try to solve all of the clues they find, the magical
participants must keep their eyes on the clues too – because the clues may
point to THEM instead of to the truthful murderer.

Participants in this mystery are brought back into a 60's hippy freedom theme. A group of young, fun-loving teens/adults are trying to plan a musical party for all of their friends to attend the next weekend. The entire script surrounds the events/discussions of that one evening of planning, with some hilarious and fun tangents for the participants to be involved with as they each imagine how they could best plan the following weekend's party. Toward the end of the "evening" something goes slightly awry with a couple of people within the group (MURDER), and only when trying to solve the "murder" do each of them realize how important their friendships and relationships within the group are to them. It's a "clean" script with the concepts of "love", "peace" and "happiness".
